Must read

Members of the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) Central Executive Committee (CEC) have gathered at the organisation’s Secretariat in Naguru, Kampala, for a key leadership meeting aimed at improving coordination and strengthening the movement’s structures.

The meeting brings together senior PLU leaders to discuss issues related to organisational development, leadership coordination and ways of enhancing the effectiveness of the movement across the country.

The arrival of the CEC members at the Secretariat marks another important step in PLU’s efforts to build a strong and organised leadership framework. The organisation has in recent months focused on improving its administrative systems, expanding its structures and ensuring better coordination among its members.

The meeting comes under the leadership of PLU National Chairman Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, as the organisation continues to develop its internal structures and promote its stated values of patriotism, national service and unity.

Recently, PLU made several leadership and administrative changes, including the appointment of Hon. Twalla Fadil as Secretary General and the introduction of new leadership at its headquarters in Naguru. The changes are part of efforts to strengthen the Secretariat and improve the organisation’s day-to-day operations.

The PLU Secretariat has continued to serve as a central hub for leadership engagements, member coordination and planning of organisational activities. The new leadership has highlighted grassroots mobilisation, discipline, accountability and unity as key areas of focus.

During the CEC meeting, leaders are expected to deliberate on strategies to support the growth of the organisation, improve communication within its structures and strengthen engagement with members across different parts of Uganda.

The gathering of senior PLU officials demonstrates the organisation’s continued commitment to building a coordinated leadership system and creating a platform focused on patriotism, national development and service to Ugandans.
