National Cleaning Day: Police Names Exempted Groups Of People Who Will Walk Free

The Uganda Police Force has named the groups of people who will walk free as the whole Nation will be involved in National Cleaning exercise come on Saturday 29th.


Police spokesperson Kitumwa Rusoke while addressing the media says security has named the categories of people who will walk free while the rest of Ugandans will be cleaning. Kitumwa says cross boarder buses and their passengers will not be affected by National Cleaning exercise.

He however says cross boarder buses when found in local roads will be affected and they will clean. He adds that Doctors, Nurses, X- ray workers, mortuary attendants will also not be affected. He also revealed that Journalists on duty will also not be involved in the cleaning exercise.”our foreign tourists and Ugandans heading to Airport for foreign trips will also be excused from cleaning,” he says adding that Ambulances, Security guards on duty will also not participate in the exercise.

“All people excused from cleaning are required to carry their Identification to avoid conflicting with security forces,” he says adding the exercise begins from 7:00am to 10:00am. “Anybody who fails to comply with security irrespective of who you are will be arrested and prosecuted in courts of law,” Says Kitumwa Rusoke.
