The state house Anti corruption unit along with Criminal Investigations Directorate and Office of the Director of Public Prosecution have arraigned Naluyima Josephine, a marketing officer at Centenary bank, Tororo before Chief Magistrate Court in Tororo on charges of Theft and Conspiracy to Commit a Felony.
The accused joins Asangai David the Tororo District Community Development Officer who was already charged on the same charges.
Naluyima working as a Marketing Officer at Centenary Bank, Asangai David and others still at large between September and October 2023, conspired and stole millions of Shillings meant for the elderly under the SAGE program within different sub counties in Tororo and Busia districts.
She has been remanded until 16/04/2025.
