PRESS STATEMENT ON FATAL ACCIDENT AT NGOGOLO IN LUWERO DISTRICT.
The traffic Police in Luwero district are investigating a case of fatal accident that occured today Monday the 14th April 2025, in Ngogolo village, Butuntumula sub county Luwero district along Kampala-Gulu highway involving motor vehicle registration number UBH 003Z Toyota Silver in colour driven by unknown driver that claimed the life of one female juvenile identified as Nakito Eunice aged 14years old and a resident of Ngogolo village in Luwero district.
It is alleged that the driver of vehicle registration number UBH 003Z who was driving from Gulu side heading to Kampala direction lost control at Ngogolo and knocked a female juvenile who was walking off the road.
Police was notified and they responded immediately examined the scene, registered a case of fatal accident.
The victim was rushed to Luwero Hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival as the yet to be identified Driver took off.
The vehicle towed to Luwero Central police station parking yard pending IOV inspection.said ASP Twiineamazima Sam the Savannah Region police spokesperson.
