“We’ve Already Chosen Our Flag Bearer” Greater Bunambutye Cheers Hon Biara

Must read

On Monday, Biara Emmanuel Wepukhulu joined other political candidates, including those running for Member of Parliament and LC5 positions, in a joint campaign rally held in Bumufuni, Bunambutye, and Bwihonge. Unlike many politicians who offer big promises during campaigns, Biara chose to speak about his real achievements that people have already seen and felt.

As Biara addressed the crowd, people responded with excitement, cheering and listing the many ways he has helped their communities. These include repairing boreholes to restore access to clean water, offering scholarships—such as helping the child of the late Bosco—building temporary bridges, and supporting women’s savings groups with funding. He also gave out tree seedlings, started piped water projects, and promoted youth development through sports tournaments.

The crowd’s warm reaction showed that Biara’s past efforts have not gone unnoticed. Residents praised him for being a leader who acts instead of just talking.

Looking to the future, Biara shared his plans to focus on restocking cattle in the Greater Bunambutye region, an area that has suffered major losses in the past. He described this as a critical step in helping families recover and rebuild their livelihoods.

He also made a heartfelt promise to secure an ambulance for Bulambuli District, saying that even if he is not re-elected, the ambulance will continue to serve the people. This statement won the hearts of many, as it showed his commitment goes beyond politics.

The Biara Foundation expressed deep thanks to the people of Greater Bunambutye for the warm welcome. “The love you showed Biara today clearly means you have already chosen him to carry the NRM flag,” a representative from the foundation said.

As the campaign season continues, it’s clear that Biara Emmanuel Wepukhulu has gained strong support, not through promises, but through proof of real service and care for the people.
