Police Grills Presidential Advisor Justine Namere Over Attacking Full Figure

Must read

Justine Namere, the NRM flag bearer for Masaka City Woman Member of Parliament, has turned to Kampala Metropolitan Police (KMP) in response to allegations made against her by socialite Jennifer Full Figure. The case has drawn public attention and sparked discussions on social media.

Jennifer Full Figure claims that she was intercepted and assaulted by Namere and her husband on August 29, 2025, along Kyadondo Road. According to Full Figure, her phone and Shs 500,000 were reportedly stolen during the alleged attack.

Namere, however, denies all allegations. She insists that neither she nor her husband was involved in any attack on Full Figure. Namere appeared at KMP to provide her side of the story and to cooperate fully with the authorities.

At the police station, Namere recorded two statements. The first was as a suspect regarding Full Figure’s accusations, and the second was as a complainant, accusing Full Figure of cyber harassment and bullying. This dual approach highlights the complexity of the case.

Police officials have confirmed that the matter is under investigation. They have urged the public to remain calm and allow the authorities to carry out their duties without interference or speculation.

Kampala Metropolitan Police has also called on anyone who has experienced similar incidents or has cases against Full Figure to come forward with evidence and report to the police. This is part of their effort to ensure justice is served fairly.

P Onyango, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) and Public Relations Officer (PRO) of KMP, verified that Namere has provided her statements and that investigations are ongoing. He emphasized the importance of cooperation from all parties involved.

The case has attracted wide public attention, especially on social media. Some citizens are closely following the story, while others are urging both sides to resolve their differences peacefully.

Observers note that the incident raises issues around personal safety, online harassment, and the responsibilities of public figures. It also underscores the need for proper reporting channels when disputes arise.

As the investigation continues, the public is waiting for updates from Kampala Metropolitan Police. Authorities hope that through careful examination of evidence and statements, the truth will emerge, ensuring justice for everyone involved.
