Mpendo Juma has expressed deep gratitude to the First Family for appointing him as the National Resistance Movement (NRM) and Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) Mobilizer for Kamuli District. In his letter of appreciation, Mpendo described the appointment as a great honor and a show of confidence from the country’s top leadership. He pledged to use his position to strengthen the NRM’s presence and promote the vision of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.

He extended special thanks to the Vice Chairman of PLU, Toyota Kaguta, also fondly referred to as “Uncle,” as well as Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba and Mr. Samuel Nabeeta, Director of Operations at PLU, for their trust, mentorship, and continuous guidance. Mpendo emphasized that their leadership has inspired his dedication to serve with loyalty and discipline in mobilizing support for the ruling movement.

With humility and determination, Mpendo assured the leadership that Kamuli District would deliver 100 percent of its votes for President Museveni in the upcoming elections. He stated that he is fully prepared to take on all assigned duties and follow every directive aimed at ensuring effective mobilization and a successful campaign across the district.

As part of his mandate, Mpendo vowed to promote the NRM Manifesto and highlight the many achievements delivered under President Museveni’s leadership. These include improved education through new schools, better road networks connecting communities, modern health facilities, and the peace and security that have enabled development across the country. He said these achievements have transformed Kamuli, Busoga, and Uganda at large.

In his closing remarks, Mpendo reaffirmed his commitment to defending and advancing the President’s legacy and vision. He promised to be at the forefront of communicating the progress made under NRM and PLU, urging all Ugandans to remain united in support of the government’s development agenda. “For Kamuli, for Busoga, and for Uganda,” he declared, “I will stand firm in serving our country and our President.”
