The elections are scheduled to take place on Wednesday, 28th January 2026. According to the Commission, the adjustments were made to ensure better organization and smooth conduct of the voting process across the different regions.

For the Eastern Region, the elections will now be held at the Islamic University in Uganda located in Mbale City. In the Central Region, voters and participants are expected to gather at Masaka Sports Arena in Kitovu, Masaka City. These venues were selected to provide adequate space and accessibility for delegates involved in the exercise.

In Northern Uganda, the election activities will take place at Mvara Secondary School in Arua City. Meanwhile, the Western Region elections will be conducted at Ntare School in Mbarara City. The Commission believes these institutions offer suitable facilities to handle the regional electoral process effectively.

The Electoral Commission has urged all eligible youth representatives, delegates, and stakeholders to take note of the new venues and prepare accordingly. Officials emphasized the importance of timekeeping, cooperation, and adherence to electoral guidelines to ensure a peaceful and credible election.

These regional youth elections play an important role in strengthening representation of young people in Parliament. The Commission reaffirmed its commitment to conducting a transparent and orderly process that reflects the will of the youth across the country.
