The aspirant member of parliament for Orungo County Constituency in Amuria district Teddy Anyuk Osire has been commended by the Muslim community in Amuria district for her support when she donated food items for Eid al Fitr for better celebrations.
The donation paçkage includes, 200kg of rice and 50 cartons of soda.
Anyuk noted that the donation is part of her social responsibility to support the community during big days like Eid day.
she however, urged Muslim youths to promote peace and coexist harmoniously with other religious groups promising to continue sharing with them always.
” I don’t make empty promises, I am here to work for the people of Orungo county and ensure that development comes to the constituency” she remarked .
sheik Rammathan Ibrahim Ibwakit, the deputy district khadi of Teso region on behalf of Muslims commended Anyuk for the donation and asked Muslims to always vote for leaders with vision and community development.
Teddy Osire Anyuk earlier this year declared her bid to contest for Orungo County parliamentary seat. She his the director of Starlight secondary school in Amuria district and a reknown businesswoman in the area.
