A high-level meeting has taken place between the Chief of Defence Forces and Senior Presidential Advisor for Special Operations, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, and the leadership of Nation Media Group (NMG) Uganda to discuss the ongoing closure of its media outlets in the country. The meeting was held at the Special Forces Command headquarters in Entebbe.

According to the information shared, the meeting brought together key figures from the media group’s ownership and management. Among those present was NMG owner Mr. Rostam Aziz, alongside his son Mr. Saam Aziz. Also attending was Ms. Georgia Mutagaywa, the Chief of Staff of Taarifa Limited.
