Police in Seeta are investigating a case of aggravated robbery and murder that led to the tragic death of Dr. Mubiru Peter, a radiography specialist who worked with Happy Doctor Clinic in Seeta. The incident has left the local community in shock, raising concerns about safety and violent crime in the area.
According to police reports, the attack happened on the evening of 19th April 2026 at around 7:00 PM in Bagala Zone, Goma Division, Mukono Municipality. Dr. Mubiru was on his way home when he was suddenly attacked by unknown assailants who were riding on a motorcycle. The attackers struck quickly, leaving him with severe head injuries before fleeing the scene.
Good Samaritans rushed Dr. Mubiru to Mulago National Referral Hospital in an attempt to save his life. Despite efforts by medical staff, he was sadly pronounced dead shortly after arrival. His death has deeply affected colleagues, friends, and residents who describe him as a dedicated health worker committed to helping others.
Police have since launched intelligence-led operations to track down those responsible. Several suspects believed to be connected to the crime have already been arrested. These include Mususwa Abubaker, Olowo Joshua, Muyanja George, and Basibu Umar. Authorities believe these arrests could be key in uncovering the full details behind the attack.
