Court seating in Nakawa chaired by Grade 1 Magistrate Jonathan Tiyo has today charged and remanded top Social media abuser to Luzira Prisons until 19 January 2026 for abusing Pastor Grace Lubega Motovu of Phaneroo Ministries, Spyreports has learnt.

According to information obtained from Nakawa Court, the accused person has been indentified as Mugerwa Trafford Jamil 25 years who resides in Kampala and Jinja.
According to Charge sheet,It is alleged that Mugerwa Trafford Jamil and others still at large between 2023 and November 2025, shared,posted or wrote information through a computer YouTube Channel called “There is still hope”. Accordingly, the information intended to Ridicule,Degrade or Demean the image of Apostle Grace Lubega Matovu and Phaneroo International Ministries.

The Suspect died all the charges claiming that what he posted on his YouTube channel was his opinion. Court further told him that it could not grant him bail because people working in cash office were still in festival days. “It is your right to apply for bail but even if I grant it to you now, you have no surities in court. Next time you appear come with your surities,Letters from LCS and National IDs and I will tell you the next step,” Magistrate tells him as he remands him to Luzira.
Shortly after Trafford Jamil was remanded, he reveals to us that he has been remanded for telling the truth. “What I can tell you is that Pastor Lubega Motovu has certanic powers at his Church and people should not try it,” he says. He added that Pastor Lubega wanted him to apologize for what he said and when he refused ,he influenced and that is why he has been sent to Luzira.

“Everything will come to an end and the public will know the truth. I have gone to Luzira but Apostle Grace Lubega knows the truth,” he says. Phaneroo Ministries is located at Naguru a posh Kampala Surburb. His biblical message has attracted several people especially the youth from all corners of the world. When we visited the place, over 2000 people had gathered for the night prayers to say goodbye to 2025 and welcome 2026.
