The Uganda Police has confirmed that three suspects who were arrested in connection to the mob killing of the Rugby player were facing serious interrogations behind the police bars, Spyreports has learnt. This was revealed by police Spokesperson ACP Kitumwa Rusoke while addressing Monday Security briefing at police headquarters in Naguru a Kampala Surburb. “What I can assure you is that those whom we have arrested in relation to the mob killing of Sydney are facing Music in our custody,,” Says Police Mouthpiece adding that those who are still on run will be got and face the same music tone.
“The pain they put on the deceased is similar to what they are going through,” he says. He also called on the state to boda boda industry to order. “Mob killings have increased and according to the last Police annual crime report it stood at 22% where a total of 950 people were killed in mob action,” He says adding that people should stop talking laws into their hands. “You boda boda riders, you are not judges, if you suspect anybody to have committed a crime, arrest him or her and hand over to authorities for trial,” He says. He added that innocent people have lost their lives in mob actions and some key figures include Rugby player ,Former Accounts of Case Hospital, ,Jacobo Akankwasa the former Bursar of Kyambogo University among others.
