“There Will Be No Party for AAA”: Gen Muhoozi Warns Supporters, Threatens Arrests

Must read

Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba has issued a strong warning against any planned party or celebration for AAA, saying such an event will not be allowed to take place.

In a post on X, Gen Muhoozi said there would be “ABSOLUTELY no party for AAA” and warned that security authorities would arrest anyone involved in organising or participating in what he described as “nonsense.”

His warning comes with a clear message that forgiveness should not be interpreted as an automatic cancellation of outstanding legal matters. Muhoozi said that forgiving someone does not mean that the person no longer has unresolved cases.

“Forgiving someone does not mean they do not have unresolved cases,” he stated.

The remarks suggest that while forgiveness may be extended on a personal or political level, existing cases or investigations may still continue through the relevant authorities. His comments also appear intended to discourage any public celebration or gathering connected to AAA.

The warning has added a new dimension to the ongoing discussions surrounding AAA, particularly over how supporters and authorities may respond to any planned activities. Muhoozi’s use of strong language indicates that security agencies could take action against those who attempt to organise the proposed party.

For now, his message is direct: there will be no celebration for AAA, and anyone who attempts to organise or participate in one could face arrest.
