Juma Seiko, a wealthy businessman from Gulu and the former lover of Desire Luzinda, has reignited an old paternity dispute regarding their daughter, Mitchelle Kaddu. For years, Seiko has been adamant that Mitchelle is his biological child, but Desire has refused to settle the matter with a DNA test, which has left tensions simmering between the two.
Seiko, who was notably absent from the Kwanjula ceremony, spoke out in a heated interview with Bukedde TV. Despite his absence at the event, Seiko made it clear that his grievances with Desire are far from over. He expressed frustration at the ongoing refusal to conduct a paternity test, even though both parties had agreed to it in the past. Seiko believes that Mitchelle is his daughter, and he has gone as far as accusing Desire and her legal team of actively blocking the DNA test.
According to Seiko, there have been multiple attempts to arrange for the test, but Desire has repeatedly declined. He claims that she even refused to take Mitchelle out of school for the test, which Seiko interprets as a deliberate attempt to avoid confirming his suspicions. “She knows that blood is thicker than water,” Seiko said, adding that he has messages from 2003 that he believes prove his claims. Despite Desire’s silence on the matter, Seiko remains determined to get a DNA test done, and he has offered to cover the costs himself. “That girl is mine, even when you look into her eyes,” Seiko declared, making it clear that he will not rest until this issue is settled.
The paternity saga between Seiko and Luzinda has been a long-running and complex issue. In 2018, Desire Luzinda publicly revealed that Mitchelle’s father was a man named Kaddu. However, Seiko’s claims have not been easily dismissed, and the battle over Mitchelle’s paternity continues to this day.
