The Manager of the Office of the National Chairman (ONC) and Senior Presidential Advisor on Political Affairs, Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye, extended a warm and thoughtful gesture to security personnel by delivering a special Eid package to Kampala Central Police Station. The visit took place as part of a wider effort to appreciate officers who continue to serve the public with dedication, especially during the holy period of Eid al-Fitr.
Upon her arrival, Hajjat Namyalo was received by the newly appointed Kampala Metropolitan Police Commander, Emitu Ezekiel Ebapu, alongside KMP Spokesperson Rachael Kawala. The police leadership warmly welcomed the initiative and praised the Office of the National Chairman for recognizing the important role security officers play, not only during the fasting month of Ramadan but also during the festive celebrations that follow.
The visit formed part of ONC’s broader outreach program aimed at appreciating frontline officers who often sacrifice personal and family time to ensure the safety of others. During her interaction with the officers, Hajjat Namyalo applauded their discipline, commitment, and tireless efforts in maintaining law and order across the city. She emphasized that their service is essential in keeping peace and stability, particularly during busy and joyful occasions like Eid.
The Eid package was specially prepared to support Muslim officers and their spouses at the station as they celebrate the end of Ramadan. Beyond the material support, the gesture also symbolized unity, care, and recognition from leadership. It served as a reminder that the work of security personnel does not go unnoticed.
As the visit concluded, it left a positive impact on the officers, strengthening the relationship between leadership and security institutions. Such initiatives continue to build morale among officers and encourage a spirit of togetherness, especially during important religious and national celebrations.
