Police in Wakiso are investigating a case of aggravated robbery that happened in the early hours of 1st May 2026 in Nakuwadde Village. According to reports, a resident was attacked by an unknown man who was armed with a panga. During the incident, the victim was robbed of a mobile phone and an undisclosed amount of money. The attack created fear in the quiet village, especially because it happened at night when most people were asleep.
After the incident, alert community members quickly responded to the victim’s distress call. Working together, they managed to track down and apprehend a suspect identified as Kiyinji Marvin, aged 21. The suspect was found in possession of the stolen mobile phone, which raised further suspicion and strengthened the case against him.

He is currently in custody as investigations continue to determine whether he acted alone or was part of a wider criminal network operating in the area.
