The incident, which resurfaced on 9 June 2026 through social media videos, shows a group of assailants attacking two victims and stealing cash that had reportedly been withdrawn from a local forex bureau.
Immediately after receiving the initial report, police launched investigations into the robbery. Officers visited the crime scene to document evidence, recorded statements from witnesses, and reviewed CCTV footage to piece together what happened. Vital materials that could aid the investigation were also collected to support efforts to identify and apprehend those responsible.
