Kampala Police Intensify Hunt for Robbery Suspects After Viral Video Emerges

The Police at Kabalagala Division are investigating a robbery that took place on 6 May 2026 at around 11:30 a.m. at the Nsambya Traffic Lights along Ggaba Road in Kampala. The incident, which resurfaced on 9 June 2026 through social media videos, shows a group of assailants attacking two victims and stealing cash that had reportedly been withdrawn from a local forex bureau.

Immediately after receiving the initial report, police launched investigations into the robbery. Officers visited the crime scene to document evidence, recorded statements from witnesses, and reviewed CCTV footage to piece together what happened.
