A serious incident has occurred in Kampala after a building that was still under construction collapsed in Kisota Zone, Kikaaya Parish, Kawempe Division. The accident happened on 05 May 2026 at around 1:00 PM, leaving workers and residents in shock as rescue teams rushed to the scene.
According to police at Kira Road, nine people were successfully rescued from the debris and quickly taken to nearby health facilities for medical attention.
