A notable political and military gathering took place in Mukono during a thanksgiving service for outgoing Defence Minister Jacob Marksons Oboth-Oboth. The event attracted senior political figures and members of the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU), who turned up in support of the occasion.
The PLU delegation was led by Daudi Kabanda, who represented the group at the service. He was accompanied by Peter Ogwang and Haruna Kyeyune Kasolo. The team participated in the thanksgiving ceremony, which marked a moment of appreciation and farewell for the outgoing Defence Minister.
