Police Sniffer Dog Identifies Suspect in a Case of Animal Killing 

Uganda Police Force canine dog has identified a suspect involved in a case of killing animals that occurred on the 25/05/2023 at Mabaale Village Kiwoko Town Council in Nakaseke district.

The Savanna Region Police Spokesperson, ASp Sam Twineamazima said, "The Police Canine Sniffer dog was introduced to the scene. It picked the scent and tracked it up to a home which belongs to Buraimu Onguyo. Onguyo's son, Mugisha Wabwire was bathing when he saw the dog. He fled into the coffee plantation from the bathroom shelter." A search was conducted. His clothes and gumboots were containing blood stains. His father was subsequently arrested.

"However, he, Wabwire came out of the plantation and surrendered himaelf to police. He confessed his involvement in the incident," Twineamasiko said.
