Senior Police Boss Dies Under Unclear Circumstances.

Police in Busoga North Region are investigating circumstances under which their colleague died as he was being taken to the hospital. The deceased has been identified as Superintendent of Police SP Robinus Nuwagaba who was the Regional Logistical Officer.

The incident occured at around 4am on Friday, at Industrial Area Village, Mandwa Ward, Kamuli Municipality, where the deceaseed has been residing.

The Busoga North Police Spokesperson, ASP Micheal Kasadha said a death enquiry file DEF 006/2023 has been opened at Kamuli Central Police Station, while the scene has been visited by detectives who recovered exhibits of evidential value. 

The body was conveyed to Mulago Hospital morturay for an autopsy pending further investigations. Kasadha said calling for calm and avoidance of speculation.
