All Kampala city Butcheries Ordered To Close Due To Foot And Mouth Disease

The Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industries and Fisheries has imposed quarantine restrictions on Kampala Capital City over the outbreak of Foot And Mouth Disease in the Kabowa area, Lubaga Division in Kampala City.

The directive to KCCA also restricted movements of animals such as cattle, pigs, goats, sheep, and their products and by-products from, to, through, and within Kampala Capital City Authority with immediate effect and the prohibition has no specified period.

This brief letter to KCCA directs all the city's local government administrators, District Veterinary Officers, Chiefs enforcement personnel, and the public at large to enforce these restrictions.
