NRM Team Thorough YKM Launches Poverty Eradication Strategy For 2025 - Advised To Emancipate People From Poverty, Laziness

The National Resistance Movement(NRM) pressure group Team Thorough YKM Kira House headed Pastor, Mbabazi Robert as National Coordinator and Special, Presidential Mobiliser, On Poverty Eradication Programs, and Development has launched the Poverty Eradication, mindset changing, value addition, and job creation strategy for the year 2025. 

The function held at Kira house Pilkington road in Kampala was presided over by the Senior Presidential Adviser, On Special Duties, Mr. Abaine Peter.

He has advised the mobilozers to not only concentrate on politics but embrace the commercial agricultural 4-acre model in their respective areas.

"The 4-acre model is designed to maximize output while ensuring Food security and sustainability, generates income and creates jobs". Said Mr Abaine.

He also rallied coordinators to embrace the Parish Development Model by encouraging fellow residents to form groups at their respective villages which aims to see the 33% of Ugandan in subsistence agriculture involve in the money economy as well as benefiting from various goverment programs like GLOW for women, Youth Livelihood program, Emyoga, among others.

Joy Katafire from Kiruhura District one of the Opinion leader, and NRM supporter, Rashed at NRM corrupt officials in the party primaries. 

"As we are approaching the NRM Primaries, there are NRM official, who are warming up to chew, money meant for, polling agents. President Museveni is let down, by corrupt officials, especially, the NRM offices. President, is not old, but because, he is up and down, doing this, and that, the man, is busy, i can tell, but, he is committed to serve, and he is continuing". She Said.

The team National coordinator Pastor Robert Mbabazi revealed that their main strategy is to embrace love and unity among Ugandans by working with security agencies while encouraging locals to participate in government poverty eradication programs.

 "This year, is going to be the year of action, we need to act tougher, than ever. We plan to hold a three days exhibition at Kololo grounds showcasing our various projects  and value added products. Revealed Pr. Mbabazi.

The team donated wheelchairs to members with disabilities to support them in life and mobilization. 

The function was attended by Officials from the, Ministries of Trade, Indistries and cooperatives , The Manager of, Mbale grain millers, manufacturers of Mbale Maize flour, Religious leaders, Cultural leaders, Heads Of Departments,  Regional Coordinator, District Coordinators, Sub County Coordinators, Parish Coordinators, as well as, Village Coordinators.
