President Museveni Drops Ministers Kitutu, Nandutu, And Ssempijja In The New Cabinet Reshuffle.
President Museveni made a slight change in his cabinet list when he dropped some ministers and appointed The UPDF Commander Gen Wilson Mbasu Mbadi state Minister for Trade, Industry, and Cooperative Affairs charge of trade.
By virtue of the authority given to the President of Uganda by Articles: 108(2), 108A(1), 113(1), and 114(1) of the 1995 Constitution of the Republic of Uganda, that here below I publish a slightly amended list of the cabinet of Uganda. The statement reads in part.
Hon Vincent Ssempijja Appointed Senior Presidential Advisor. Other Ministers Dropped from their Ministerial posts and Appointed Presidential Advisors are,Hon Kwiyucwiny Grace Freedom, Hon. Wanyoto Mutende, and Hon.Herriet Ntabaazi.Hon Jacob Oboth has been appointed full minister of Defence and veterans Affairs.
The President has also Appointed Asio Omaswa as The Principal Private Secretary. Irene Birungyi Deputy presidential Press Secretary has been transferred to the Ministry of Public Service for deployment.
Promoter Balam Baruhagara Has been Also Appointed State Minister For Gender, Labor, and Social Development in charge of Youth and Children Affairs. Balam is the current Deputy national coordinator of PLU in charge of Western Uganda.
