Two Die in Luwero Motor Accident

Luwero district's traffic police is currently investigating a tragic accident on Kiwoko road in Bukomba that occurred on Thursday, claiming the lives of two individuals. The victims are identified as Ssenyondo Denis from Zirobwe and Kakuru James, aged around 30, who succumbed to injuries at Mulago hospital. The incident involved vehicles with registration numbers UG 2747W (red), motorbike UEQ 730Y Bajaj boxer (red), and UFW 191X Bajaj boxer (red). Preliminary findings suggest that Kakuru James, riding UFW 191X, overtook a Fuso Lowbed (white) loaded with an excavator, colliding with an oncoming motorcycle carrying sacks of eggplants and sweet potatoes. The impact led to a tragic outcome, with one passenger dying instantly and another in Mulago hospital. "The police responded promptly, documenting the scene, towing vehicles to Luwero CPS, and conveying the bodies to Mulago city mortuary for postmortem examination. Investigations are ongoing," said ASP TwiineAmazima Sam, PRO Savannah Region.
