Bang The Table; President Isaac Semakadde Brings 17 Lawyers To Represent Him In A Case Of Alleged Insulting DPP Jane Abodo.
The Uganda Law Society President Isaac Ssemakadde has brought 17 Lawyers before the Buganda Road Chief Magistrates Court to defend him in the case in which two of his colleagues (Joshua Byamazima and Tony Tumukunde) are accusing him of insulting modesty of a woman.
The Private Prosecutors Byamazima and Tumukunde accuse Ssemakadde of hurling vulgarized statements against the Director of Public Prosecutions(DPP) Jane Frances Abodo.
Ssemakadde 's lawyers are led by Eron Kiiza and Derrick Bazekuketta of GEM Advocates.
Ssemakadde's now seeking dismissal of charges of insulting Justice Abodo.
Counsel Derrick Bazekuketta submitted to court that the two complainants are have filed various applications and suits on belaf of various people before different courts.
President Ssemakadde notes that the impugned complaint falsely and misleadingly presents the alleged victim [DPP Frances Abodo] as a woman of unimpaired modesty whereas not.
