Businessman Dies From Hotel Room On Independence - Body Found Naked

The territorial Police in Bushenyi are investigating the death of a famous businessman in Bushenyi town Isaac Ruhigwa Atwine, after finding his naked body in a hotel room. 

Martial Tumusiime, the Greater Bushenyi police spokesperson, noted that the body of the deceased was discovered by a staff member at Deluxe Hotel in Kizinda Trading Centre, Kizinda-Kigoma Town Council, on Wednesday, October 9, at 10:30 pm, five hours after he had checked into a room with an unidentified woman.

Ruhigwa Isaac Atwine, 54, a resident of Bwegiragye Cell, Ishaka Division, Bushenyi-Ishaka Municipality, had been operating a retail shop in Bushenyi Town.

Isaac's body was found lying naked on the bed and covered with a bedcover, with no visible injuries.

He reported that the body of the deceased, which was lying naked on the bed and covered with a bedcover, had no visible injuries.

The body has been conveyed to Kampala International University Teaching Hospital in Ishaka for a postmortem.

 He added that no arrests had been made as of press time. However, police had recorded statements from the hotel owner and staff and were also reviewing footage from the hotel’s closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras.
