Cooperatives' Saga! Trade Ministry PS Ssali Arrested, Charged With Conspiracy To Defraud

The Permanet Secretary Ministry of Trade Geraldine Ssali Busuulwa, has been today Thursday 18 July 2024 arrested and taken to the Anti-Corruption Court and charges of abuse of office, causing financial loss, and conspiracy to defraud.

She has joined legislators Micheal Mawanda , Ignatius Wamakuyu and Paul Akamba to face new charges of receiving stolen propeAccording to the State Attorney, she will be charged tomorrow.

Ssali with the three legislators and the city Lawyer Kirya are accused of stealing Shs3.4billion intended for cooperatives
