Court Martial Dismisses Cases Against Former IGP Kayihura Blue Eyed Police Officers.

The General Court Martial seated in Makindye in Kampala and chaired by Gen. Freeman has dismissed a case against former Inspector General of Police Gen. Kale Kayihura's blue-eyed police officers after spending over 10 years battling.

The free officers who can now be redeployed by their security agencies include, Col Ndahura, ACP Herbert Muhangi, SSP Nixon Agasirwe, and others who had been accused of illegal extradition of Rwandan refugees and failure to protect war materiel.

Nixon Agasirwe is now a free man after a General Court Martial dismissed the case against him and two others; Herbert Muhangi, and Col Ndahura Atwooki.
SSP Agasirwe Nixon was arrested on October 24 2017 and charged before the general court martial on February 13 2018 with unlawful possession of ammunition.

He was returned to the same court in August of the same year and charged together with his former boss Gen. Edward Kale Kayihura, the former IGP, and ten others with aiding and abetting Kidnapping.

His co-accused include Col. Ndahura Atwooki, Herbert Muhangi, Patrick Muramira, and Jonas Ayebale.

Others are Joel Aguma, James Magada, Benon Atwebenbeire, Abel Tumukunde, and Faisal Katende Amon Kwarisiima, all police officers.

They were charged alongside a Rwandan national Rene Rutangungira and a Congolese Pacifique Mugenga Bahati lias Ilunga Monga.
