Fatal Accident Claims 2 Students En route to a Field Study

This morning, a fatal accident which claimed 2 people occurred involving a Busitema University bus carrying students from Midland High School Kaberamaido.

The accident took place in Awoja, Aukot sub-county, Soroti District. Sadly two students have tragically lost their lives in this incident. Numerous students sustained serious injuries and have been promptly transported to Soroti Referral Hospital for medical attention.

The school headteacher, John Baptist Ekou said, "the students were heading to Jinja for Geography field study when the crash happened in Awoja, Aukot sub-county, Soroti District. Some of the survivors are currently admitted at Soroti regional referral hospital."
