Former DRCC Writes To NRM Secretary General Seeking Dialogue, Turns Guns To Own Party Members
Former Rubaga Division Deputy Resident City Commissioner Herbert Anderson Burora has written the ruling National Resistance Movement Secretary General Hon Richard Twodong seeking a meeting with him to discuss the corruption claims in the party.

Our engagement is aimed at asserting our position and commitment to resisting what is eroding the image of the Party. Said Burora in a letter dated 6th May 2024.

On 24th April 2024 Burora wrote to the secretary Office of the president Mr. Kakande Yunus retiring from his job so that he can fully engage in the fight against corruption without any restriction from any office.

In a letter dated 23rd April 2024, Burora accused the secretary to the president of confiscating the letter he had written to the president dated 28th March 2024 as the appointing authority in which he was requesting early retirement.

He noted that the role of the secretary is only limited to administrative, issuing the appointment letter on behalf of the president, and facilitating the work of the RDCs and RCCs.
Burora further castigates the hostile working environment he allegedly caused by the speaker of parliament Rt. Hon Annet Anita Among he says has forced him to retire from office as the deputy Resident City Commissioner in Rubaga division Kampala capital city.
