Here Is Why Counsel Aron Kiiza, Besigye Lawyer Sentenced To Nine Months In Prison

Court Martial Sentences Dr Besigye Lawyer Aron Kiiza to 9 Months In Prison Over Contempt Of Court Court Martial Seating at Makindye has today convicted and sentenced Jailed Dr Kiiza Besigye lawyer Aron Kiiza to Kitalya Prison for nine months over contempt of Court.

Counsel Kiiza was earlier arrested by Military police officers after he forced himself into court premises.

 According to eye witnesses, security had earlier blocked Counsel Kiiza to enter court on allegations of misconduct.

However Counsel Kiiza wrestled with security officers as he forced himself inside court.

He was arrested and detained for some hours. 

He was later produced in the same court this time not as a lawyer but a suspect. 

He was later charged and sentenced to serve nine months in jail for contempt of court.
