House Maid Arrested over Stealing a Child in the Church. 

Crime Intelligence Detectives attached to Natete regional police are holding a house maid over allegations of stealing a child from seventh day Adventist church in kyengera. The arrested maid has been identified as Namubiru Ronita 17 years of age and a resident of Nazigo in Kayunga while the stolen child has been identified as Lucky Nassozi. Police also identified the mother of the girl as  Joseline Nassozi and her  Father as Dickson Yiga.

The arrested maid told detectives that her sister and boyfriend told her to go and look for the girl child any where and ensure that she brings her to their home in Kayunga. "My sister and her boyfriend gave me transport to come to Kampala and ensure that I steal a girl child from anywhere I find her and ensure I take her live back to Kayunga,"says the arrested maid. She adds that as she was in the taxi looking left and right, she saw a church on the roadside and told the taxi conductor to stop and I got out of the taxi and went to church where I spent like 30 minutes and took the girl away. 

According to the parents, their girl was stolen last Saturday while at Seventh Day Adventist Church in Kyengera and they immediately reported the matter to Natete police. Our police sources told us that immediately after parents reporting, they went into CCTV cameras and started tracing what transpired from the church since morning until they landed on the arrested girl how she came out of a taxi and went directly to the church until how she stole a child and how she moved until when she reached Kayunga. 

"We managed to track her movements from kyengera to up Kayunga where she was arrested along side her whom she alleges that she is the one who had sent her,"says on of  the investigators who asked not to be mentioned.
