Justice Byabakama Vows To Deliver Free And Fair Elections

The Chief Justice, Alfonse Chigamoy Owiny - Dollo,has presided over the swearing-in ceremony of the Chairperson, Deputy Chairperson and members of the Electoral Commission of Uganda.

The ceremony was witnessed by the Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs, Hon. Nobert Mao.

Those swearing included ; Electoral commission Chairperson Justice Simon Byabakama, Deputy Chairperson, Hajati Aisha Lubega and Commissioners; Hon. Stephen Tashobya, Dr Sallie Simba Kayunga, Hon. Caroline Beinamaryo, Mr Anthony Okello and Mr James Peter Emorut.The commission is now to serve a term of seven years.
