Joint Security Recovers Stolen Gun From Police Officer After Murdering Him.

Joint security forces have arrested two Karamojong warriors suspected to have participated in the killing of a police officer Moris Ochen in Kurao village, Kalapata Sub County and robbing his gun.

The Mt Moroto Regional Police Spokesperson, Michael Longole, identified the suspects as Lomuria Lochomin and Lokol Loita, both residents of Moruedikae and Terek village respectively in Kalapata Sub County.

"On Sunday, the 14/Jan/2024 at around 05:00am,  joint security forces conducted cordon and search operation in Morudukae West village, Kalapata parish, Kalapata subcounty, Kaabong District where 02 prime Suspects identified as, LOMURIA LOCHOMIN and LOKOL LOITA were arrested and later led our teams where they had hidden  the Police gun  SMG rifle  with 60 rounds of ammunitions and had it recovered," Longole said.
