The Annual International BPO Conference is scheduled for September 2023

The Uganda Business Process Outsourcing Association (UBPOA) and its strategic partners; the National Information Technology Authority NITA, Ministry of ICT and National Guidance, Private Sector Foundation PSF, and Mastercard Foundation, have set up the annual International BPO Conference & the BPO Awards ceremony. The planned event is scheduled for Thursday, September 21st, at The Serena Hotel, Kampala, and will be concluded with the Annual BPO awards held on Friday, 22nd September 2023. Mr. Collin Mugasha Babirukamu- the Director of E-Government Services says the two-day event aims to raise awareness of the government’s plans to promote the export of ITES/BPO goods and services.  This is intended to create sustainable jobs for youths, increase Government revenue, and attract foreign Investors.
