Thousands Participate In 2024 Kabaka's Birthday Run.

Thousands of Ugandans have this sunday morning flocked the Kabaka's palace(Lubiri) at Mengo to participate in the Kabaka Birthday Run.

Participants from different parts of the kingdom including politicians,institutions,civil socierty organisations gathered in king's palace for this run.

The Kabaka Birthday Run, 2024 has seen off thousands of people engage in the marathon intended to raise funds to support the ongoing fight against HIV/AIDS.

This is the kingdom's significant historical marathon with a record of having a huge number of participants.

Nnaalinya Agnes Lubuga conveys the Kabaka’s message, reinforcing the importance of the event and the causes to end AIDS by 2030 

The King is out of the country where he went for his medical evaluation and monitoring.

The Kabaka will be celebrating his 69th birthday on April 13th 224.

Buganda premier Charles Peter Mayiga commended the participants for heeding to kabaka's call to fight HIV/AIDS through various activities like the birthday run.

The campaign of the fight against HIV/AIDS is spearheaded by Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II as the UNAIDS ambassador in Africa to end AIDS by 2030.
