Three Children Perish In Fire Gutting Home! Father, Son Rescued With Severe Injuries

The Police in the Kampala Metropolitan Police are investigating  fire outbreak that claimed three children in Busega. The children suffocated in a fire that left the father and one child treating severe injuries.

Fire Incident happened in Kitaka Zone, Busega in Rubaga Division, Kampala District at the home of Mr. Mugerwa Anest. 

Police from Nateete Division, led by ASP Kalyango, responded promptly, but the fire had already been contained by the general public.

 Three children tragically lost their lives due to suffocation caused by carbon monoxide and these are identified as Nalukwago Danila, 11 years, Lukwago Darius, 6 years and Muwanguzi Diego, 3 years while Mugerwa Anest (the father) and his son, Mugerwa Marvin, were rescued and are currently receiving treatment at Mulago Hospital.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation confirmed ASP Luke Owoyesigyire the deputy public relations Officer Kampala Metropolitan Police.
