IGP, Senior Police Chiefs Honored With Independence Medals

The inspector General of Police IGP, Martin Okoth Ochola and other top senior police chiefs were among the 49 people who were awarded with Independence medals by President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for their extra Ordinary services to their Country. 

The medals were awarded at Kituguma on Monday during independence celebrations.
IGP Ochola was awarded with 1st class medal for his exceptional leadership.
Other top police chiefs that received medals included AIG Damulira Christopher the Director In charge of Crime Intelligence and AIG Ochaya James who heads Research planning and Development. The pair was awarded with 2nd  class for their exemplary services in their tenure.
