Am So Happy That I Will Be Counted In My Kingdom For The First Time - King Charles Mumbere Tells UBOS Boss Dr. Mukiza

The Omusinga of Rwenzururu Kingdom Charles Wesley Mumbera has said that he will be so happy that in his entire life, he will be counted for his first time while seating comfortably in his Kingdom with his subjects, Spyreports can exclusively report.

The happy King revealed this secret for the first time to his subjects and to the entire world while meeting the Executive director of Uganda Bureau of Statistics(UBOS) Dr Chris Mukiza and his team at his Palace in Kasese on Tuesday.

 In his remarks, King Charles Mumbere extended his thanks to UBOS Director for extending Census messages to the entire Country.

 "Am experiencing the second Census ever since I was born. But this is the most popular Census I have ever seen," Says King Charles Mumbere. He says the 2014 Census, he was counted as a resident of Kampala.

" This is will be my First Census in my life to be counted in my home and am very happy, "sounds King Mumbere.

The King says he grew up in areas where Census was meaning less. " Dr Mukiza I want to assure you that Obusinga will cooperate with you to have this Census successful, " King Mumbere sounds. The king further says that he will be the first person to be counted in his Kingdom.

 "The Royal Family and I are ready to be counted on the first day," He says adding that he will make sure that the first day of Counting will find him at his home.

 "Long time ago, people feared to count their Children thinking that after counting them they will die but with the current technology this myth has died," Says King Mumbere adding the Country wants to know the people it has.

"We are going to speak to our Community to be counted such that we know how many we are," The King assures UBOS Boss Dr Mukiza Chris. He further says that it will be his wish for every leader to be part of this Census exercise and help all people be counted.

"I also call upon the RDC and other security agencies to provide security to enumerators during this exercise," he says. He also revealed to UBOS ED that he will be the Census Commissioner in Rwenzururu Kingdom.

The ED UBOS thanked the the king for accepting to be the Census Commissioner in his Kingdom. Dr Mukiza also revealed to the King that this is the first Census to capture clans as it was requested by the clan leaders.

 "Your Majesty am so happy that you have allowed us to count you o the first day of Census," Says Dr Mukiza adding that this will end the myth that when you count people especially children, they will die.

 The ED says the Census data will help the King to know the people he has in his Kingdom and how to plan for them. "Your Majesty this information will help you to know the people you have in your kingdom, where they live, how they live, what they own and how you can distribute resources to them," Says the Dr Mukiza.

He also assures the king the Census information will not be disclosed to any body even the President can not access it. The ED also assured the king that UBOS will also facilitate his movements to all his Chiefdoms ad he spreads the gossiple of Census.

 "Your Majesty the CAO of Kasese will be in charge of all your movements during this Census period," Says Dr Mukiza.

The ED also assured the King and the entire Kingdom that Babies who will be born after Census night will not be captured in the Census and people who will die after Census night will be captured.
