Another Museveni Minister appears before CID investigators to record Statement.

State Minister for defense and veteran affairs Oboth Oboth has appeared before a team of investigators at CID headquarters in Kibuli to record another statement in connection with diversion and theft of ironsheets which were meant to be given to karamoja.

The Investigating team recording the statement of Minister Oboth Oboth is led by deputy director in charge of investigations Beatrice Chelimo.

Our sources at Kibuli told us that the Minister came with many military escorts but to their shock, they were all told to remain at the quarter guard and the Minister was taken by investigators.

It's not yet clear whether the Minister will be allowed to go back home or he will also be added on the list of the arrested and charged Ministers.
Oboth is among the Ministers who received iron sheets that were meant to be given to karamoja.

It's alleged that Minister Oboth had donated 130 iron sheets to roof the house of the parish priest of one of the churches in his constituency.

Our sources added that Minister has so far withdrawn the iron sheets that he had pledged to roof the house of the priest and gas since returned the iron sheets to the factory of OPM in Namanve.

However when contacted for a comment, Polly Namaye, the deputy police spokesperson told that , she wasn't aware of it because she was busy on another assignment.
“I am not aware yet because I have been busy with another assignment” she said.
