Celebrations in Kayunga as Finance Minister Amos Lugoloobi is Released from Prison.

Residents of Ntenjeru north in kayunga district were today very happy at Anti-corruption Court as their member of parliament was being released from prison where he had spent over a week.

Finance Minister Amos Lugolobi was granted a cash bail of 10M by the principal Senior Grade one magistrate Ebert Assimwe.
Minister Lugolobi's six sureties were also granted 100M non Cash after finding them substantial to stand surity.

Court however ordered Minister Lugolobi to deposit his diplomatic passport to Court and that he shouldn't leave the country without a Court permission. The grade one magistrate also ordered the Minister to deposit one of his original land tittle to Court.

Mr Lugolobi was the second Minister to be arrested and prosecuted in court and remanded to Luzira prison after Mrs Kitutu Agnes's arrest, prosecution and remanded to Luzira also.

The same Court yesterday charged and remanded Agnes Nandutu the State Minister in charge of karamoja.

After the release of Amos Lugolobi, his supporters who were filled up inside and out side Court began celebrating with joy saying that their member of parliament has finally gained his freedom back.
