EC Billions Saga:Secretary General, 3 Others Suspended As M7 CID Boss For Thorough Investigationd

 The multi billion financial saga which recently occurred at the Electoral Commission(EC) has taken a new twist after President Museveni ordered for suspension of Secretary General Mulekwah RJ Leonard and three others, Spyreports has exclusively learnt.

According to our inside sources, the President instructed the EC boss Justice Simon Byabakama to suspend his EC and other three top bosses after he received intelligence reports that they were directly involved in the financial saga that caused financial loss to the government.

"During Christmas break, President met some officials from EC at his home in Rwakitura and he was extensively briefed how EC Secretary general and his Juniors swindled the money and were covered by mafias In the government," Says an inside and reliable source.

 Another source reveals that the President was briefed, he also put his under cover spies to counter investigate before he could make a final decision.

 "The Counter team, found out the truth and confirmed what was earlier said," says another source.

 The security source says the President later called Byabakama to suspend the EC for further investigations.

 Our inside sources at EC had earlier told us that when the Saga occurred, the EC Secretary general was sent on forced one month leave to pave the way for investigations.

 "The Secretary had just reported from his leave on 9th January but he was shocked when he was told that the commission decided to suspend him longer for further investigations," A source told us.

 The inside source says the annoyed Secretary general did not even hand over office. "He just packed his bags and moved away," says another source.

M7 Orders CID Boss Magambo For Thorough Investigations

 Meanwhile inside security sources intimated us that the President later called CID boss Tom Magambo to Thorough investigate the matter and provide him with a comprehensive report. Sources say Magambo is soon calling the staff for interrogations over the matter.

"We trust Magambo when it comes to investigations and we are sure he will produce a very good report to the President," says another inside source at EC.
