Four Year Old Juvenile Disappears, Father Suspects Son was Kidnapped.

A 4-year-old boy has gone missing in Kibuli Parish, Makindye division Kampala district, according to a statement released by the Kabalagala Police Station.

The missing boy identified as Odoi Hannington Daniel, was last seen with a friend, 6-year-old Mukisa Sowedi, who reported that they had encountered a man in a black T-shirt who promised to give them a ride on his bicycle.

According to the Kampala Metropolitan police spokesperson Luke Oweyesigyire, the man led them to an area in Okiring zone, where he instructed Sowedi to go back home, leaving Daniel with him.

He said when Sowedi returned to the area with Daniel's brother, Wilson, both Daniel and the man were nowhere to be seen.

The police have processed the scene and are urging anyone with information to come forward and assist with the ongoing investigation. The suspect is still at large, and the motive behind the disappearance is yet to be determined. CCTV footage of the juveniles passing by the area has been viewed to aid in the investigation.

Owoyesigyire emphasized the importance of citizen cooperation during the investigation and assured the public that the safety and security of all citizens, especially children, are of utmost importance to the police.

“The police are calling on anyone with any information on the matter to come forward and help with the investigations. The safety and security of our citizens, especially children, are of utmost importance to us”, he said.

“The public is urged to remain calm while the investigation continues, and further details will be communicated as they become available”, he added
