FUFA President Magogo's Bodyguard Shoots Man over Allegations of Loving his Wife.

Detectives attached to Kumi Central Police Station is investigating circumstances under which a bodyguard  attached to the security of RT Hon Anita's Husband Hon Magogo shot a business man over allegations of having love affairs with his wife. Hon Magogo's bodyguard  who is now a suspect has been identified as No.38516 PC Otyek Ikuret Emmanuel a police officer attached to Parliamentary Police (CT) and a bodyguard to Hon Magogo. The police officer is also a resident of Kabwangho ward, Kanyumu Trading Center.

Police has identified the victim as Okia George William a resident of Ochege cell, Ochege ward also in Kanyumu Trading Center. According to police, they received information from Ogwang Joseph the area LC II  Chairperson Kobwiri ward, Kanyumu Trading Center.

It's alleged that one No 38516 Pc Otyek Ikuret Emmanuel (Osele John Bosco) attached to Parliamentary Police under CT left his place work on 24/5/2023 during night time for his home in Kanyumu T/c Kumi District.
On arrival he went and put up in his brother in law's home called Obwin Parish councilor Kobil, Kanyumu ward.

The Police Officer woke up at around 4am with his brother in law and went to his home which is within the same area Kanyumu.
Upon arrival at home, awakened his wife whom he suspected to be having love affair with the victim Okia George.
On searching his house, there was no man and there he decided to follow up the victim Okia George William in the market being a cattle trader in pretext that he wanted to buy a bull.
They negotiated the prices and the Police Officer convinced the victim to pick money from his home which is near the market.
Upon reaching home with the complainant, the Police Officer called his wife and asked her whether she had ever had any love affair with the victim.
The Police Officer then picked a pistol from his bag and discharged a bullet but missed the victim narrowly in stead it got the door side after being intercepted by Ogwang his brother in law giving an opportunity to the the victim to escape.
Ogwang later on ran to Kanyumu Police Station to report the matter today 24/5/2023 at around 8:30am.
 
According to AIP Okwi John Francis OC Kanyumu Police Station and team, they visited the scene, recovered the projectile. The scene of crime was reconstructed by socco and ascertained that the Police Officer had fled back to his unit. A case of murder by shooting was entered in Kanyumu Police Station vide Sd 03/24/5/2023 but later turned to Kumi CRB 343/2023.
