Government of Uganda has declared Friday tomorrow 21st April 2023 a public holiday as Moslems celebrate their Eid Al Fitri.
Ministry of public service has written to the ministry of information, communication Technology and national guidance to make public announcements on all Media channels alerting the public about the Moslem celebrations worldwide which makes it a public holiday.
"The Hon Minister of public service informs the general public that tomorrow 21st April 2023 is Eid Al Fitri and we will be observed as a public holiday throughout Uganda pursuant to the public holidays Act, 1965,"reads part of the statement from Minister of public service.
