High Court Judge Ordered To Immediately Handover Office For Not Having Instruments Of Power

The Principal Judge Flavian Nzeija has writen to Acting Judge of Jinja high court Hon Ladt Justice Faridah Shamilah Bukirwa ordering her to handover office and docket at Jinja high court circuit.

The letter dated 8th August 2024 indicates that the judiciary did not receive from the aointing authority justice Bukirwa's instrument of appointment as substative judge of the High Court.

''Therefore, since your acting period as a judge of high court expires on August 15,2024, this is to request you to handover your office, all judiciary properties and all case files before you to the Head-Jinja high court circuit as we find out why your instrument of appointment was not received by the judiciary''. Reads the letter.
