Homosexuals Haven't Stolen Money From Gov't The Way You Have Stolen, Mwenda Tells Off Speaker Among

Veteran Journalist and outspoken political analyst Andrew Mwenda has attacked the Speaker of parliament Rt. Hon. Anita Among accusing her of stealing public funds which would be used for public health, building schools the the country.

Mwenda says that the speaker has no moral authority to denounce homosexuality saying that her actions has a bigger damage to Uganda.

"Money was being wired directly from the bank of Uganda to parliamentary account ,to her body guard, her driver and the personal assistant in stanbic Bank, I have the bank statements". Stated Mwenda.

Mwenda has however tasked the speaker ton come out publically and account for that money.

This comes at a time when the UK imposes sanctions on Ugandan politicians including the Speaker of Parliament following corruption charges for stealing from the poorest communities in Uganda.

The public is also calling upon the speaker to uphold the principles of accountability, transparency, and adherence to the rule of law in all matters related to the administration of public funds and the remuneration of public officials to create and maintain public trust and ensure the responsible use of taxpayers' money.

Hon Ssekikubo has oftenly asked the speaker to raise the matter of the wastage of public funds and wanted the house to debate on how commissioners of parliament sat and awarded themselves about Shs1.7 billion which the speaker rejected and regarded as nonsense.
