I Will Not Run For Second Term -Guinea Bissau President Embalo Declares

The president of Guinea Bissau Umaro Cissoko Embalo stunned nationals when he declared that he will not stand for presidency in the coming November general elections. 

The 51 years president Embalo to office in January 2020 succeeding president Jose Mario Vaz. 

President Embalo said his wife had dessuaded him from running for the second term. 

The president however, did not mention his successor. 

Embalo , is an ex- army general who served the prime miníster to the country of approximately Two million people.
